Primary responsibilities:

Manage PCB libraries for a multitude of customers with varying requirements and standards.

Ensure IPC and company standards are adhered to for all libraries.

Create detailed schematic symbols in multiple CAD software.

Create accurate IPC-compliant PCB footprints in multiple CAD software.

Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure proper development of PCB Libraries.

Interact with the PCB Design team on a regular basis to ensure libraries are functional.

Maintain multiple log books for individual customers.

Interpret electronic component datasheets and 3D mechanical drawings.

 

Job Qualifications:

Have good knowledge of computer operations and file structures;

Be able to work as a team member;

Be creative and innovative in problem solving;

Be highly adaptable and skilled in learning several design software and functions;

Have good oral and written communication skills and good inter-personal skills;

Have the ability to work to specific design guidelines/rules and defined schedules;

Demonstrate exceptional time management skills.

Demonstrate above average attention to detail.

Any combination of education any experience in electronics will be considered. College level electronics certification is preferred.

Experience in Mentor Expedition, DxDesigner, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD Capture or Altium Designer is an asset.
